Inspiration is crucial to the design process and may come from the most unlikely of sources. The inspiration process and the work that results from it will be the focus of this class. Through partnerships with a local museum and focused field trips to art collections and specific locations, students will be challenged to hone their inspiration and design work that responds directly to a work or works of art. Students will create pieces over the course of the session using different points of inspiration. Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent
