The African Diaspora Alliance's goal is to connect descendants of Africa to the global African community, commonly known as the African Diaspora. We seek to educate, encourage unity, and promote black businesses throughout the Diaspora. One of our leading initiatives right now is at Frederick Douglass High School in West Baltimore. We have created a after-school program which we have been facilitating since December. We meet on a weekly basis and discuss a variety of topics such as African Diaspora history, leadership, activism, and international politics. During our meetings we also bring in community leaders to connect with the students and discuss some of these topics.
