Enjoy an Arabic 1001 Magical Nights Fairy Tale themed fun filled evening at Lithuanian Hall. This is our fifth annual fund raising event. The program will include:

This Howard Community College Faculty Recital explores the full color palette that flute, cello, and piano create together. Each composer on this program interprets the possibilities differently, from the 19th-century Romanticism of Louise Farrenc, to modern Argentinian tangos by Astor Piazzolla, to Hillary Tann’s 21st-century illustrations of Italian Renaissance gardens.
AmiciMusic, the award-winning chamber music organization dedicated to performing great music in intimate spaces and non-traditional venues, presents a wonderful program of piano trios influenced by folk music from around the world. Violinist Emmanuel Borowsky and cellist Frances Borowsky join AmiciMusic's Artistic Director Daniel Weiser on piano on this fun journey from the Slovakian countryside (Dvorak's "Dumky" Trio) to the streets of Buenos Aires (Piazzolla's "Four Seasons") and finally to the diverse sounds of America from ragtime to dixie to Klezmer (Paul Schoenfield's "Cafe Music").

Robert Cantrell, bass-baritone, is often praised for his rich, powerful sound and lyrical musical interpretations. A local favorite, Cantrell promises to deliver an engaging and dynamic performance, exhibiting great vocal control and sensitivity. His program, accompanied by Daniel Lau, will feature works by Handel, Mozart, Strauss, Ibert, and more.
The Monday Night Music series presents Lynne Griffith, music lecturer, on horn. Griffith has performed extensively in the United States and abroad with the Singapore Symphony. She is also a frequent performer with Chamber Music on the Hill at McDaniel and is a member of the Mistral Winds.
The Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS) and Arena Players, Inc., are seeking multi-talented actors, singers, and dancers for our double header remount of Determination of Azimuth / Battle of Blue Apple Crossing in February 2018!

“Determination of Azimuth” and "Battle of Blue Apple Crossing" are two short-form rock operas that center on prominent figures in African-American history.
This collaborative recital will explore the connection between music and literature in the stunning George Peabody Library! Darling's new exhibit of artifacts from the planet New Galapagos. By interacting with the curious inhabitants of the museum, the building, and the exhibition itself, each audience member must choose their own path through the evening's strange events.
In honor of Thanksgiving, this open mic Stoop show features audience members telling 3-minute tales about their tribes, proving the truth that “Every freaky family is freaky in its own special way.”
The Stoop presents My Freaky Family, an open mic night of true, personal tales of un-stuffing your Thanksgiving memories.

Spanning two centuries of piano trios by women composers, this concert, performed by pianist Sookkyung Cho, cellist Si-Yan Darren Li, and UMBC Professor of Violin Airi Yoshioka, recognizes the 150th birthday of the first prominent American female composer Amy Beach (b. 1867, New Hampshire).

Dr. Natka Bianchini of Loyola University will lead a happy hour discussion on the use of drag in popular Shakespearean works and adaptations, presented with iconic looks from film and stage. Ashani Dances returns to Theatre Project for to celebrate their 5th annual concert, featuring original music by Marc Avon Evans.
“Be Our Guest!” The Academy Award-winning film comes to life in this romantic and beloved take on the classic fairytale. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress.
