Jazz at Lincoln Center has entrusted its late night sessions to the incomparable voice and spirit of Michael Mwenso. Together with the monster musicianship of his big band, The Shakes, and vocalists Charnee Wade and Brianna Thomas, unearth a jazz age when the sound was synonymous with danceable, bawdry, ribald, and most defiantly blue. Students from the Computer Music Studio, faculty, and guests will participate in a digital and multimedia concert.
This show will begin with a solo set, followed by a screening with live score.
After a standing-room-only Halloween concert, the Occasional Symphony will combine the arts of music and dance at the MASQUERADE. Inside Hampden's historically hip Church and Company, conductors Joshua Hong and Joon Choi invite the audience to dance to masterful waltzes composed by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Ravel, Saint-Saens, Berg, WEbern, and more including a premiere written by OS alumnus Scott Lee. Audience members will enjoy complimentary dance lessons, pastries, and drinks. Get your mask, your dancing shoes, and join the Occasional Symphony for an unforgettable evening!

Join the Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra at Mercy High School's Jeanette Weinberg Auditorium for a Holiday Spectacular! The HVSO is joined on stage by the Hunt Valley Symphony Chorale, the Mercy Madrigals, and the Mercy Dance Troupe for a night of festive music-making. The concert will feature holiday favorites, the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a sing-along, and a few surprises along the way!
New Wave Singers' 30th anniversary celebration rolls merrily along with Home Is Where the Heart Is, the chorus' always-anticipated annual holiday concert. You'll be treated to a rich blend of secular and Yuletide favorites that's set to include "The Gift of Music," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Do You Hear What I Hear?" and "Jingle Bells," along with a lot more. The Baltimore Folk Music Society presents American Square and Contra Dancing on the 2nd Saturday of the month running from 8:00 'till 11:00 pm, with a short break in the middle.
Admission is: $9 BFMS Members & Affiliates, $13 non-members. Under 21 and full-time students with ID: $4 members, $6 non-members.
Beginners, singles, couples, and families are welcome. No Experience necessary; you don't need to bring a partner.
