Escape the cold weather this February and travel deep into the Amazon Rainforest where we will create a short play from start to finish using Lynne Cherry's "The Great Kapok Tree," as our inspiration. Your little ones will learn about the elements of character development, prop and set design, and theatre terminology in a nurturing and fun filled environment. The last class will culminate in an informal performance of "The Great Kapok Tree"

Ephemera of all kinds, sorted and unsorted, may be layered, glued, constructed, placed into box or book context, and/or mixed around until final compositions fall into place. Janet adds any medium that seems necessary to create her lush and textural images.
