- From historically significant dwellings to quaint rowhouses and from scenic apartments to elegant houses, there is something for everyone at the at the 46th Annual Historic Harbor House Tour of Fell’s Point, set to take place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14th, from 11am until 5 pm. The event benefits The Preservation Society and is a self-guided tour through Fell’s Point quaint streets and into a sampling of homes and urban gardens in this historic maritime community. Tickets are $20.00 per person in advance and $25.00 the day of the event, which will take place rain or shine.
In celebration of the running of the 142nd Preakness, Lexington Market will host its first-ever Crab Race Festival outdoors adjacent to the Lexington Market Arcade (between Eutaw and North Paca Streets.) The happy hour event pays tribute to the historic Crab Derby, held annually at the Market in advance of The Preakness. Food from Faidley’s Seafood and other iconic Market vendors will be available along with local craft brews and specialty cocktails. Live music by The Kelly Bell Band and a Kids Zone full of games, crafts, and other activities will provide fun for the entire family.
Second annual Baltimore Podcast Festival returns May 19-20
To hear some of Baltimore’s best podcasts on Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20, you can ditch your headphones — they’re live and in person at the Baltimore Podcast Festival!
“Last year was a fantastic proof-of-concept for the idea of a podcast festival here in Baltimore, and I’m thrilled that we’ve grown into a second day,” said Tripp Laino, the festival’s founder. “We’ve gone from three shows recording episodes to 10, and I’m really excited to hear these new shows.”

Family-friendly activities offered throughout the season, as well as a changing schedule of live music and community-interest vendors.
Kids of all ages create freestanding towers from pasta and marshmallows in our Weekend Workers program presented in partnership with Future Architects Committee. Cost is included with museum admission ($7-$12; Children 6 & under and BMI Members free).
