SINGLE CARROT THEATRE SEEKS TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS
Single Carrot Theatre (SCT) is seeking technical assistants to support the technical director in planning and implementation of show designs, space set up for rentals, and other support as needed. This position is an independent contractor position, 5-20 hours a week, depending on SCT’s production needs.
- Experience in all areas of production including carpentry, electrics (sound and lighting), painting and props construction.
- Able to lift and move large objects up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing ladder and working at height of 17'.
- Familiar with Theater practices including hanging soft goods, cabling, legging and installing platforms, building flats, and creative problem solving in executing special effects or special projects.
- Ability to drive a stick shift a plus
Salary: $10-$12 hourly, commensurate with experience

Formed at the University of Colorado in 2005, Single Carrot Theatre moved to Baltimore in 2006. Now entering its 9th full season, Single Carrot theatre has produced 38 mainstage productions, participated in numerous collaborative endeavors with area nonprofits, offered extensive educational programming for both children and adults and engaged in international exchanges with theatre artists from Russia and Bulgaria.
