BSF Seeks High School and College Actors for Paid Performance Internships!

Auditions are open for Baltimore Shakespeare Factory’s 2020 Performance Internships!

An ideal candidate should be willing to approach the text openly and have an interest in theater, literature, rhetoric, or performance. Additionally, they should have a reliable ability to attend rehearsals at our theater in our space in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. Rehearsals are held evenings and weekends.

To schedule your audition, please send your headshot and resume to Rachel Tilley at [email protected] . Auditioners should prepare a 30-45 second cut of a monologue from any published play (contemporary or classical) and be prepared to read short scenes with other auditioners. Optional: If you play a musical instrument, please bring it and if you would wish to be considered as a singer in pre-show or intermission music, please be prepared to sing a short 15 second piece a capella. Interns receive a $300 stipend.

Auditions will be held in 30 minute group slots on Sunday, September 29 (5-8pm) and Monday, September 30 (6-9pm) at Baltimore Shakespeare Factory: 3900 Roland Ave, Baltimore, MD 21211.
