Chesapeake Shakespeare Company seeking a full time Marketing Manager

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company seeks a full-time, experienced Marketing Manager to create and manage marketing efforts for the theatre. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Manager creates a marketing plan and budget and supervises its implementation. This position oversees the Marketing Associate/Graphic Designer and (when contracted) freelance graphic designers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate, design, and implement the promotion of all programs & events in a wide variety of traditional and creative ways, including print & online advertising, print & online flyers, posters, information packets, social media, etc.
  • Prepare and execute email blasts: design, recipient selection, responding to questions
  • Prepare and execute posts in all social media platforms, including the creation and placement of Facebook advertising
  • Work with and supervise graphic designers to design, produce, and distribute all printed marketing materials (i.e. flyers, programs, postcards, brochures, logos, annual reports, ads, etc.)
  • Communications with printers and mailing houses
  • Managing print mailing and email lists
  • Oversee program advertisements; work with designer to place ads in programs
  • Coordinate and run all photo shoots; oversee photographers; take photographs at casual events; distribute photos to social media
  • Run reports and analyze data
