Chesapeake Shakespeare Seeks Volunteer Ushers

The nonprofit Chesapeake Shakespeare Company is a dynamic theatre of the classics with a strong education mission and exciting stories to tell.

We are seeking outgoing, friendly volunteers to usher before shows. No experience necessary, just a welcoming demeanor and a willingness to help. Ushers are asked to arrive at the theater 90 minutes before the show starts and stay through the show. They may be asked to scan tickets, help patrons find their seats, and distribute programs and parking coupons. They must be 16 years of age or older. Shows are mostly Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There are some weekday 10am performances for every show. Availability for these shifts is a major plus.
