DESCRIPTION:Photography is the foundation of Gina Osterloh’s interdisciplin
 ary and  multi-medium art practice. Osterloh's photography, video, perfo
 rmance art,  and text works activate photographic conditions including re
 plica,  representation, flatness and volume, presence and absence, ill
 usion and the  Real, desire and repulsion. Osterloh has had recent solo e
 xhibitions at the  Columbus Art Museum and MOCA Detroit. She is the recipi
 ent of a 2024  Guggenheim Fellowship. Osterloh received her BA from DePaul
  University and  her MFA from the University of California, Irvine.
