DESCRIPTION:The area surrounding the Jewish Museum of Maryland was the cent
 er of  immigrant Jewish life in Baltimore in the early 1900s, but today o
 nly a few  remnants of its Jewish past survive. Voices of Lombard Street t
 ells the story  of this historic neighborhood from then until now.\n\nThe 
 exhibition chronicles a place of constant change, where people of  differ
 ent backgrounds lived, worked, created community—and came together in  t
 he renowned Jewish market known as Lombard Street. The exhibition is  curr
 ently on display in the JMM’s Shoshana S. and Jerome Cardin Exhibition  Ga
 llery.
