FACTS! makes its debut as part of Highwire's Greenhouse program, which supports new show ideas. FACTS! combines storytelling with musical improv. We then welcome Girl Car, a quintet from Lancaster, Pa., who will present a road trip you will never forget.
The evening closes with Baltimore superstars Babeprov, who will create comedic scenes based on the stories of Art of Solidarity co-founding director Maria Gabriela Aldana.

The REALLY COOL Open Mic is turning 1!!!! It's been an entire YEAR of wildly supportive open mics dedicating to getting more women and queer people on stage, and we're CELEBRATING! Follow the rainbow to The Lou Costello Room above Zissimos Bar for three fantastic comedy acts. We start with D.C.-based Breakfast Schnitzel before Baltimore up-and-comers Carbon Copy hit the stage. The show closes out with long-running Baltimore team Important Screws, who will bring guaranteed chaos to the stage.

Join pianist Adam Makowicz and saxophonist Krystof Medyna for an evening of jazz at An die Musik Live!
Krystof Medyna and Adam Makowicz have been performing together since 2012. In August 2024, they recorded their first album “New York Flavors” under the label FOR TUNE, and in October they performed at the Kennedy Center. Their repertoire contains mainly American jazz standards and their own compositions.
Brazilian arts presenter EducArte welcomes Brazil’s most important samba band of all time: Grupo Fundo de Quintal (Backyard Group). Performing for the first time in the DC region, Fundo de Quintal is the most awarded and respected group in the history of samba pagode. They have defined the genre and created instruments that are now essential to the samba pagode, creating their signature sound that includes cavaco-banjo, tantã, and repique de mão.

For this concert at An die Musik Live, Max Johnson presents his incredible trio, celebrating their 2024 album, "I'll see you again" on Adhyropa Records. This group explores Johnson’s more traditional jazz compositions inspired by innovators Charles Mingus, Mal Waldron, and Thelonious Monk, while featuring Johnson's unique energetic and chaotic soundworld.
