Arye Harmony has shared her soultry voice from the south to the north. She has opened shows and opened eyes with her performances and music. Starting off being a songwriter for local artist around New York lead her to write and direct her own projects. I Need Your Body gained popularity in Russia, Belgium, and The Netherlands. Her EP project released called Testing the Waters pulled her 1st single, RED, which has been recognized for its powerful delivery and relatable message. She is definitely on the rise of music and in our hearts.
Copper Hill creates a genre of music that combines the styles of folk, classical, singer-songwriter, and jazz. The group—violinists Willa Finck and Katie Knudsvig, bassist Caroline Samuels, and banjo player Ethan Cypress—refers to this genre as folk-art music.
Baltimore Concert Opera continues its popular new performance series this season, Thirsty Thursdays at the Opera. Top-flight professional opera singers will perform operatic highlights paired with beers and ales that have been specially chosen to go with the music. Legendary Baltimore jazz vocalist Ethel Ennis (1932–2019) will be honored by her family and friends at a free, public memorial concert on Friday, May 24 at the Peabody Institute’s Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall.
The hour-long special tribute includes rare recordings of and interviews with Ennis; remarks by her husband, Earl Arnett; and live performances by her musical colleagues, including jazz greats Charles Covington, Stef Scaggiari, Mark Russell, Cyrus Chestnut, Marc Copland, and Gene Bertoncini.

This event is the major Asian Pacific cultural heritage event in the greater Baltimore region. This event will serve to highlight the contributions made by the Asian Pacific communities to the people and City of Baltimore. In the spirit of our theme of unity, an African Master drummer will join in a performance, and Baltimore’s own Riley Hawkins will display his group’s martial arts. The Embassies of Japan and Vietnam will bring cultural objects, including Sake tasting, and a Maglev model train display.
