Foodscape began as a tongue-in-cheek protest to Baltimore’s early Artscape Festivals, when artists felt there was more food on display than art. Begun at the Mount Royal Tavern circa 1982 and hung the week before Artscape, this annual show flourished for 35 years. Its last official exhibition, Check Please, was held at the Creative Alliance in 2021.
