A mic, spotlight and a good story is all you need to take a room full of people on a journey. Storytelling is one the most entertaining and impactful forms of live performance. Baltimore Story Fest will highlight the best and brightest storytellers in the region. Storytellers create a tapestry with their words that bring audiences into their worlds. Sometimes you laugh. Sometimes you cry. Sometimes you do both.

Step into the refined ambiance of Sagamore Pendry Baltimore's Stakes Soirée, an exclusive affair set against the backdrop of the Courtyard, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. As the sun sets on Black Eyed Susan race day, guests are invited to embrace the essence of Race Day Chic attire and immerse themselves in the elegance of Preakness weekend. Savory delights crafted by the skilled hands of Chef Madison Williams tantalize the palate, featuring delectable offerings such as Old Bay Shrimp Cocktail and Blinis adorned with Caviar.

A pair of romantic solo works from 1997 and Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 round out BCO's season of historic debuts. Adolphus Hailstork’s love for viola shines in his Two Romances, played by Principal Viola, Chiara Kingsley Dieguez, and Ellen Zwilich’s love song to the violin, the Concerto for Violin & Orchestra, is performed by concertmaster, Audrey Wright.

Charlotte's Web is based on E.B. White's loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte. Wilbur has a problem: how to avoid winding up as pork chops! Charlotte, a fine writer and true friend, hits on a plan to fool Farmer Zuckerman. She will create a "miracle." Spinning the words "Some Pig" in her web, Charlotte weaves a solution which not only makes Wilbur a prize pig but also ensures his place on the farm forever.

The Baltimore Improv Group has improv comedy shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7, 8 & 9 p.m. All Thursday shows are free. Friday and Saturday shows are $10.

Mando for Kids promotes and teaches classical mandolin to young students in the Baltimore area - it’s the only program of its kind in the United States! It was started by a group within the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and continues under the direction of Laura Norris, a Classical Mandolin Society fellow, member of the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and Baltimore Mandolin Quartet.
