This year on the final day of Annapolis Jazz & Roots Festival, Maryland Hall Presents Joshua Redman Quartet in the Main Theatre.
One of the defining voices of modern jazz comes to Maryland Hall.
In an encore performance from last month, Justin and his band will offer a tribute to the timeless and timely music of Fela Kuti. Fela Aníkúlápó Kútì was a Nigerian musician and political activist. He is regarded as the principal innovator of Afrobeat, a Nigerian music genre that combines West African music with American funk and jazz.
Justin’s versatility will be on display in what promises to be a dynamic performance of classic Fela tunes - and may feature Justin’s own compositions to align with the vibe of the evening.
Featuring music by brass studios: trumpet, horn, trombone, and tuba/euphonium ensembles. A performance of original works and transcriptions highlighting student work throughout the semester.

Celebrate a multitude of culinary traditions in this storytelling gathering highlighting the variety of foods shared on Thanksgiving. Presenters include TU students, faculty, staff, and other guests. Audience members are also invited to share their stories and enjoy global foods together.

Christmas Village in Baltimore returns to the Inner Harbor for its 12th season. From November 22 to December 24, 2025, the waterfront along the Baltimore Visitor Center through the Maryland Science Center will transform into a magical winter wonderland, bringing over 65+ local and international vendors with unique holiday giftware. They will be located both inside the huge heated festival tent and along the waterfront promenade in traditional wooden booths with a great view over the wintry Inner Harbor and West Shore Park.
