Classical guitarist David Russell is world renowned for his superb musicianship and inspired artistry, having earned the highest praise from audiences and critics alike.
A highlight of each semester is the performance by the creative and innovative TU Jazz Faculty Ensemble. The group includes John Lee on guitar; Dave Ballou on trumpet; Jim McFalls on trombone; Jason Rigby on saxophones; Eric Kennedy and Mike Kuhl on drums and cymbals; Jeff Reed on bass, and Savino Palumbo on piano. This concert is extra special as it is the final faculty concert for our beloved retiring professor Jim McFalls. Join us as we celebrate Jim's 25 years at Towson!!
Bach’s “St. John Passion” (BWV 245) is a profound oratorio composed in 1724. It dramatizes the events of Christ’s crucifixion, blending chorales, recitatives, arias, and choruses. Known for its emotional depth and intricate musical architecture, the work vividly portrays the Passion narrative from the Gospel of John. Bach’s masterful use of vocal and instrumental forces creates a powerful spiritual and dramatic experience, making the “St. John Passion” a cornerstone of the choral and sacred music repertoire.
McDaniel College students perform vocal and instrumental solos, under the direction of Music faculty members Rachel Andrews, Kyle Engler, and Waka Osifchin.

This provocative play combines absurd domestic comedy with erotic magical realism, unraveling the blurred lines between strangers, friends, and lovers.
The Baltimore Improv Group has improv comedy shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7, 8 & 9 p.m. All Thursday shows are free. Friday and Saturday shows are $10.
