Spend the evening with Adam Weiner, frontman, pianist, and songwriter for Low Cut Connie. Adam will take the bima at Third Space for an intimate evening of music and conversation. Low Cut Connie hits will be woven together with Adam’s reflections on his song-writing process, music creation as spiritual practice, and his own spiritual and Jewish identity.
The Towson University Early Music Ensemble, directed by Professor Marc Bellassai present their spring recital, alongside string chamber music ensembles coached by Professor Jeffrey Howard.

Centered around the role of the lead trumpet, this program reflects Kevin’s artistic focus during his six years at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. Featuring music by Thad Jones, Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie and John Coltrane, the performance traces a lineage of big band and modern jazz through powerful, expressive playing.

Columbia Pro Cantare joins with choruses across the country in a year-long celebration of America's 250th.CPC's May 2, 2026, 8 pm concert at the Jim Rouse Theatre in Columbia will include a newly commissioned work, "Sing! America 250!." Additional works on the program include "Lift Every Voice and Sing," "Ameria the Beautiful," and "The Star-Spangled Banner." The pre-concert lecture at 7 pm will increase the audience's understanding and appreciation of the music.
Principal Oboe Katherine Needleman performs Martinů's Oboe Concerto with signature expressiveness, while Kristiina Poska conducts two cherished orchestral masterworks: Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 and Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances.
