UMBC's Department of Music presents the Camerata Chamber Choir under the direction of Kevin O’Brien. A small choral ensemble consisting of auditioned singers from across the university. Camerata performs a wide variety of works drawn from the expansive choral repertoire: including Renaissance motets and madrigals, folksongs, German part songs, Russian sacred liturgies, American spirituals, and new American concert works.
On the second day of Candy Lane, we invite you to join us for Family Fun Day. This inclusive day will include visits from Santa, rowhome gingerbread making brought to you by Baltimore Architecture Foundation and Lord Baltimore Hotel (registration required), complimentary hot cocoa, story time with Enoch Pratt Library, and all sorts of other crafts and activities for all ages.

In Candlelight Concert Society’s first Free-for-All Concert, the society will showcase Maryland’s young musicians, including winners of competitions, graduates of county schools and students of local music studios. The concert is part of the Candlelight Concert Society’s 50th-anniversary season.

The Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra, under the direction of Dimitar Nikolov, is pleased to announce the return of internationally known pianist and Steinway artist, Lorraine Min in an all-Mendelssohn concert at 3 PM on December 18, 2022 at Loch Raven High School, 1212 Cowpens Road, Towson. Ms. Min will be joined by violinist Terence Tam, Concert Master for the Victoria Symphony Orchestra in British Columbia, in a performance of Mendelssohn’s Double Concerto in D Minor for Piano and Violin.
From Beethoven to Beyoncé is a fantastical trip through an imaginary music festival curated by those two artists, combining the greatest composers of all-time with the best popular artists of today. Lady Gaga sings with Brahms; Bruno Mars improvises with Bach; Wagner conducts while Adele sings; Muse, Shostakovich and Chance the Rapper talk politics; John Mayer fanboys over Mahler; and Beethoven and Beyoncé bring it home with help from Mumford and Sons. Three vocal soloists, one also a multi-instrumentalist, join the full orchestra.
30th Annual New Year's Eve Interfaith Prayer Celebration
The Historic St. Ignatius Church at Calvert and Madison Streets will join the Baltimore New Year’s Eve scene with its Annual Interfaith Prayer Celebration.
Bring in the new year with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerhoff! In collaboration with Revival Hotel and The Night Brunch, the BSO is planning an unforgettable evening. The night kicks off with Revival Hotel's Lit Lobby experience preceding the concert from the next installment of the BSO’s best-selling Fusion Series, which blends classical and contemporary music curated by Steve Hackman. BSO Fusion: From Beethoven to Beyonce starts at 8:30 pm. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
The Baltimore Improv Group has improv comedy shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7, 8 & 9 p.m. All Thursday shows are free. Friday and Saturday shows are $10.
