The concert is a celebration of a hometown holiday with the HHS Jazz Ensemble and special guest performing jazz standards and holiday classics.
Paint birthday cakes and take part in fun birthday festivities celebrating Port Discovery’s 20th year of providing purposeful, powerful play!
From Director Jim Henson Ages 5+. Gather the family for an age old story as the Muppet characters tell their version of the classic tale of an old and bitter miser’s redemption on Christmas Eve.

11:15- Principal Ron Wooden (HdGES) reads “The Night Before Christmas”. Teachers lead a sing-along of holiday favorites.

Enjoy the marvelous sounds of the holiday season: Christmas carols, music from The Grinch, highlights from The Nutcracker with our friends from Dance Connections, and other family-friendly favorites. Two performances—10:30am & 1:00pm!
Experience something different this Nutcracker season! Charm City Ballet presents its original production, A Christmas Carol. After past seasons’ sold out, critically acclaimed performances of A Christmas Carol, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid, CCB brings this repeat winter production to audiences. Founders and choreographers, Peter Commander and Rebecca Friedman are 2009 Goucher College dance major graduates who have brought together an eclectic mix of local dancers to perform in this lively version of the familiar tale.
It's time for another installment of our holiday Cabaret series! Join us for SOULstice: A Very Goldberg Christmas Cabaret with hostess Richard Goldberg leading a lineup of crazy-talented Carrots & friends. Get ready for an evening of festive music, hot toddies, and holiday cheer!
Baltimore City Recreation & Parks invites guests to celebrate Mimi DiPietro Ice Rink and its 50 years of service to the Patterson Park community with a Golden Affair. At 1 p.m. the doors will open to the public with an Ice Show featuring The Next Ice Age Academy and the Mount Pleasant Performance Troupe followed by public skate from 3 - 5 p.m.
The event is free with registration.
The Hunt Valley Wind Ensemble’s Winter Concert, a free family-friendly event, will celebrate the spirit of the season, featuring some new takes on Christmas classics, a medley of Jewish songs and other holiday-themed favorites. The Ensemble, comprising more than 50 adult amateur musicians, is under the director of conductors Matthew T. Benner and Ryan Pilius.

The First & Franklin Sanctuary Choir, joined by guest instrumentalists, presents the 18th Annual Candlelight Choral Concert, a treasured part of the Christmas season in Mt. Vernon. This concert will feature Ottorino Respighi's Laud to the Nativity, as well as works by Britten, Alice Parker, Reger, Tschesnokoff, and David Conte. The program will also include audience singing and a cappella choral music for the seasons of Advent and Christmas.

Help us fill backpacks with school supplies and create homemade stress balls for the students at Esperanza Center, a Baltimore-based organization whose mission is to welcome immigrants. Activities are suitable for all ages and no artistic talent is required.

Revelers small and tall are invited to join in festive celebrations to ring in 2019 at noon on Monday, December 31.
