One of the last vestiges of vaudeville took place from 1917 to 1920, when actor Raymond Hitchcock (aka “Hitchy”) organized a series of musical revues featuring up-and-coming young composers of the era, including Jerome Kern, E. Ray Goetz and Cole Porter. The shows, known as “Hitchy-Koos,” played successfully on Broadway and even went on a national tour.
Mind on Fire
A modular musical arts cooperative. We're playing a vivid set of sound and video including Alexander Schubert's "Star Me Kitten," music about words, fear, glitches, and tennis for orchestra and powerpoint. Also featured will be Celeste Oram's instantaneous video canon, "Xerox Rock," and "Ah," a premier by Louna Dekker-Vargas of the Witches.

ALL are welcomed for a night of FREE laughter @Flavor Restaurant in Mt Vernon. The Flavor of Funny comedy series is a once a month showcase of the DMV's best comedic personalities. This month will feature Dan Marse Kapr, Camilo Diaz, Nicki Fuchs, Garrett Harvest and Micheal Furr will be the headliner of this hilarious line up!! The space can only hold 75 people so get there early doors are at 7:30 and the show begins at 8:00pm
McDaniel College theatre arts students perform “Saints and Sisters,” a collection of three short plays, “Saints and Singing,” “Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters” and “Accents in Alsace,” written by American poet, playwright and novelist Gertrude Stein. Richard Sautter, adjunct lecturer in theatre arts at McDaniel, directs the production.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, seniors (over 60), active military members and veterans, as well as those with a McDaniel College ID.

ABBA’s hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party brings the magic closer to fans than ever before through dynamic and immersive moments that take place on the ice, in the air and in the seats. Produced by Feld Entertainment Inc., the worldwide leader in live touring family entertainment, Disney On Ice is once again elevating the ice show experience with brand-new engaging elements that will fascinate both newcomers and seasoned guests alike.
A fully immersive and interactive experience! The Archives of the Deep Now have been recreated by Submersive from instructions left behind by The Institute of Visionary History before they mysteriously vanished in 1997. Each box from The Archives contains an experiment designed to conjure visions of the past in order to ask a specific question. Episodes Two through Five, found clustered in a corner of the basement archive, appear to be connected in some significant way.

D.W. Gregory is a local writer whose star is on the rise, fresh off her work appearing in this summer’s Contemporary American Theater Festival.

What makes good material? How does one approach preparing a monologue? Discover the in's and out's of an audition format focused on performing a two minute monologue. Taught by Everyman Theatre teaching artist and maintsage actor, Steve Polites.
New York’s undisputed queen of the underground and legendary avant-gardist Penny Arcade, descends on Baltimore with her show Longing Lasts Longer, a rock n’ roll blend of stand-up comedy and memoir– a fierce, visionary and ultimately hopeful critique of New York’s slide from the “city that never sleeps” to the “city that can’t wake up.” It might be about the Big Apple, but there is enough here for Charm City to chew on as we grow and change.
