The third annual “Know Your Sugar” tour will stop at Artscape 2018 from July 20th-22nd to raise awareness of the growing diabetes epidemic in the U.S. and to educate on the importance of managing glucose levels.

Youth Arts Market:
Young artists and entrepreneurs from all over Baltimore will be selling their artwork and goods. Come check out local art and support young artists and entrepreneurs from Baltimore! Vendors will be on site from 11 am to 5 pm in the Showroom Cafe located at the Motor House: 120 W. North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21201. This market is free and open to the public!
Workshops:
Three incredibly talented artists/groups will be teaching free workshops in Graffiti Alley for Artscape Youth Day, all open to the public!
Admission $2 for individuals ages two and up. Members and children under two enter free.
A 10 year old boy with a facial deformity begins 5th grade. With a supportive family, he makes friends and deals with bullies. Rich in life lessons. Based on a book by R.J. Palacio. Ages 8+

Join us for our FREE summertime concerts at the distillery. Enjoy waterfront views, refreshing cocktails, beer, wine and live music. Food and beverages will be available to purchase from Rye Street Tavern. Please feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the waterfront view. No outside food, beverage and coolers will be allowed. This event is family friendly! Dogs are also welcome, but must be on a leash. We look forward to seeing you at the distillery this summer. The Maryland Historical Society is transforming its courtyard into a Colonial Market Square on Saturday, July 28th!
Interact with Colonial vendors and buy a bag of boiled salted peanuts, dip your own beeswax candles to take home or try your hand at our rope making demonstration. Families, students, scouts and adults will all enjoy this unique summertime opportunity in our Colonial Market Square.
Get ready for a day full of fun science while learning about your favorite circus tricks under Port Discovery’s Big Top! Clown around at interactive Circus Circuit Stations where you’ll learn the tricks of the trade such as juggling, balancing feathers, and much more! Stop by art tables to make-and-take a sound sandwich that you will use during a fun Circus Parade. Plus, hop in the backseat of the Circus Train Ride before the day is over and enjoy the view!
The Chesapeake is the only place in the United States where all five types of lighthouses exist. Learn what worked and what did not. Hear about the Bay’s surviving lighthouses, lighthouses that have “crossed the bar”, and those that have been preserved. Hear stories about the perils of being a keeper on the Bay, and their heroic efforts to help mariners in distress.

Have a little one age six or under? Join us on Wednesdays, when our drop-in programming is designed especially for children ages birth to six! Join in our interactive story time, explore rhythm and music together during Jingle Jangle Music Time and introduce children to early literacy skills through Mother Goose on the Loose®. Ride Hippity Hop horses and use Port Discovery’s special lances to join in a joust. Learn about this very old game that is also one of Maryland’s State Sports while strengthening balance skills and learning that being active is a lot of fun!
Station North Flea Market returns to The Windup Space on the last Saturday of every month from April through November, noon - 4 pm.
The market is indoors and features at least 15 new sellers every month! There's always a great variety of art, clothing, collectibles, music and more.
