Marcus Dagan created a cabaret show about the irony of love in wartime. World War II gave us some timeless melodies and lyrics. He has crafted a 3 act "play" that is heartwarming, poignant and, as always, sure to please lovers of the great American (and British) Songbook. He performed this show at The CabaretFest n Provincetown last summer and earned a standing ovation for the performance.

Leiber and Stoller, as much as anyone, virtually invented rock 'n' roll, and now their songs provide the basis for electrifying entertainment that illuminates a golden age of American culture. In an idealized setting, the classic themes of love...won, lost and imagined, blend with hilarious numbers and slice-of-life emotions. Featuring nearly 40 of the greatest songs ever recorded, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE isn't just great pop music - it's compelling musical theatre.
Playing Jazz Favorites, Swing, Showtunes, and songs from the “American Songbook”, Time for a Change is a hit wherever they perform. Comprised of four of the finest jazz musicians in the Baltimore-Washington area, they bring you back to the days of Swing, Big Band and Bebop. From Sinatra to Charlie Parker, they are comfortable in all popular music from today and yesterday. Leading the sound is Jim Voshell on the Tenor Saxophone. Backing up his formidable technique is Larry Haavik on the piano and synthesizer, Mike Morris on drums and Bill Pachucki on the Upright Bass.

Accomplished, vocalist, composer and arranger Kristina Koller will present music from her debut album ‘Perception’. As one of the most applauded rising stars in jazz, Koller has developed quickly into a highly individual vocalist, melding jazz, funk, R&B and alt-rock sounds into her songs. Kristina arranges tunes in unique ways, knowing that adding to the legacy of jazz is much more important than recreating the performances of others.
Calla Fuqua is a senior theatre major at Goucher College with a wide background in musical theatre. She attended Baltimore School for the Arts and plans to pursue theatre after college. The DuoDuo Quartet is a math problem of a collaborative extravagance. What happens when four individually powerful artists from Irish, Québécois, Scottish, and percussive dance traditions break into pairs, then reform for a juggernaut of music and dance? DuoDuo.
Nearly twenty years ago, General Maximilian Morder devised a plan to bring order to the world with the aid of a mysterious goo. Things didn’t pan out. Now, the elixir is in the hands of Reggie and Silas Cryptz – two moronic morticians who have drawn the vile ire of a family they’ve cheated in the past. The antics of our heroes will lead to monstrous results, and a dire intersection with fate.
Join Gary Rubin, a local favorite, accompanied by Brent Hardesty at the piano, as they weave their magic, singing the classic songs of Sinatra, Bennett, Darin and Buble. A delightful evening of nostalgic and contemporary classics that will compel you to hum and sing along with them and will make everyday a special occasion. You will walk out smiling!
