The Getting the Love you Want Weekend Marriage workshops saves marriages. Now in its 47th year, the Baltimore Bach Marathon offers some of the area’s finest Baroque performers. Mark your calendars to hear the completion of several cycles of Bach’s works, including the choral motets and the Clavierübung series, as well as plenty of music for the King of Instruments! The father-son team Ken & Brad Kolodner weave together a captivating soundscape on hammered dulcimer and clawhammer banjo blurring the lines of Old-Time, Bluegrass and American Roots music, joined by Alex Lacquement (bass, banjo) and Rachel Eddy (fiddle, guitar, vocals, banjo). Ken and his music have been featured on NPR, The Thistle and the Shamrock, All Things Considered, the CBC, the Voice of America, and German National Radio. The Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra, led by Music Director/Conductor Dimitar Nikolov and newly-appointed Assistant Conductor Siqi Yuan, will be presenting a FREE concert at 3 PM on Sunday, March 19, at Loch Raven High School, 1212 Cowpens Road, Towson. The concert will feature Franz Schubert’s Symphony #8 in D Minor, “Unfinished”, as well as Beethoven’s Egmont overture, Mozart’s Magic Flute overture, Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmila overture, and Franz von Suppe’s Poet and Peasant Overture.
This annual exhibition highlights the best undergraduate work, such as painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media. All students are invited to submit up to five works they have completed while studying at McDaniel College. Winners with pieces selected for the exhibition are announced during the opening reception. Jurors for the exhibition include professional artists and art educators.

AMP Up! encourages Baltimore Creatives 16-24 years old to create origional songs and new works. The creative process begins with writing workshops led by mentors. Professionals in the field give feedback and pro tips on the creative and song writing process. Spring mentors include artist producer, songwriter, DJ Von Vargas, singer, songwriter Sahffi, and music producer and television sound engineer Winston Philip.
At VLP, we honor lifelong learning and understand the importance of starting early and making it fun. We hope you join us for our Tots Tuesday Storytime for toddlers & preschoolers! Tots Tuesday Storytime is an interactive storytime for children ages 2–4 years old and their parents/caregivers.
