2022 Columbia Film Festival

2022 Columbia Film Festival

Showcasing more than 60 films, Columbia Festival of the Arts is proud to present the 2022 Columbia Film Festival, June 15-18, 2022! For this year’s virtual event, the 4th annual Film Festival will offer a varied selection of films from all genres, including short and feature-length movies, documentaries, world cinema, special themes, Maryland-based films, as well as works by student filmmakers that touch upon current and relevant topics.

Highlights of this year’s Festival include a selection of powerful films that touch on current social issues, such as MANGO HOUSE which lends insight into the refugee experience, exposing racism, and injustice; THE CREATIVE HIGH, addressing addiction; BREATHING BLACK, which follows nine black Baltimoreans through COVID and reckoning with the continued genocide of the Black body; FROM MEXICO TO VIETNAM which explores implications the Vietnam War had on the Chicano and Latino community; and the heartfelt HONK, about a woman, a goose, hope, friendship and love during a time of overwhelming struggle and loss.

Movie-goers may purchase tickets for individual movies or Film Festival Passes, and the Film Festival will use the EVENTIVE platform, which offers viewing options that include Apple TV and Roku.
