“Maryland Rising Stars” Concert

“Maryland Rising Stars” Concert

Acclaimed jazz composer, pianist, vocalist, collaborator, recording artist, teacher, actor, & music director, Mark G. Meadows is a man on a mission: to create a unifying sound that breaks through social barriers. There’s something for everyone in his music, which harmonizes pop, gospel, R&B, hip hop, funk, and jazz. With his lyrics, suffused with meaning, and his velvet voice, Meadows cuts through the noise to speak to all. Debonair on the stage, he is also an entertainer of the highest caliber.

The Tony Hancock Trio is one of Harford County’s premier smooth jazz acts, even with their members being 25 and under. Tony Hancock, Briley Harris & Adam Lilly have played everything from The Vans Warped Tour stage, to sold out clubs and everything in between. Though the guys have been jamming together since middle school, they made the lineup official in 2017. Blending a smooth jazz/R&B vibe with your favorite top 40 hits, both new and old, The Tony Hancock Trio is more of an experience than a band. You have to see it to believe it!

Noah Pierre Trio is a blues and blues rock trio based out of Baltimore, Maryland. The trio features an all star lineup of Noah Pierre on vocals and guitar, and Connor Murray on bass who both play in Baltimore band MUNK as well as Tommy St. Clair on drums from Never Ending Fall. This electric blues trio will be performing covers of blues greats such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, BB King and Muddy Waters, among others.

Noah Pierre currently fronts Baltimore based experimental funk band MUNK, who have recently released their debut album Mint Condition. Following successful performances at venues such as the Ottobar, Joe Squared, Metro Gallery, Fish Head Cantina, Sidebar and Baltimore Free Farm, MUNK is currently performing in support of this album. Noah is also an experienced solo artist in his own right, having released a few EP’s as well as his debut album, entitled Village. Noah has brought his solo sound to stages such as Rams Head Live, Ottobar, Fish Head Cantina. Both albums are available on Spotify and iTune
