Come see “Witches, Bitches and Britches,” the life of a mezzo-soprano featuring Hannah Wardell and pianist Nicholas Bavani. The evening will consist of some of the most famous Opera Work’s that represent the life of a Mezzo Soprano who is notorious for having to play the vixen, villain and lad. Our night will take you on a tour of French, Italian, English and German Opera. Aria’s like “Habanera” from Bizet’s Carmen, “When I am Laid” from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and “Voi Che Sapete” from the Marriage of Figaro will be featured. Also enjoy some of the most beloved Overtures on Piano. Join this newly established duo as they bring beloved staples of the Italian Opera tradition to Little Italy.
