If Music Be the Food

If Music Be the Food launches its fourth season!

The concert will feature the Peabody Conservatory’s most talented rising stars in efforts to increase awareness and support for the hungry in Baltimore. Featured performers are the recipients of Peabody’s top awards and include flutist Christian Paquette (1st prize - 2019 Yale Gordon Competition), cellist Mafalda Santos (1st prize - 2018 Yale Gordon Competition), pianist Lior Willinger (2017 Presser Award), and Zenith Winds (2018-2019 Honors Ensemble). The family-friendly evening of solo and chamber music will feature works by Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, Ligeti, and Maslanka.

The concert is free with suggested donation. All proceeds from the series benefit the Maryland Food Bank. Advance donations can made here: https://mdfoodbank.fenly.org/drive/music/
