Children’s Chorus of Maryland & School of Music holds their annual Open House & Music Class Demonstration Day on Saturday, April 13th from 8am to 1pm. Parents, children (5 1/2 and older) and teachers can drop in throughout the day to observe music classes, talk to staff and enjoy refreshments. Teachers may choose to observe any of the classes during the morning. Parents may want to observe a class with students near the age of their own children. Children can also participate in a free, play-based sample music class with an experienced teacher and current CCM students at 11:15 am. Families who sign up for auditions at the Open House will receive a $10 voucher towards the $25 audition fee. Staff will be available to answer questions during the day and during the Refreshments Q&A between 12 pm and 1 pm.
