Belmont
The Howard County Conservancy is pleased to announce the expansion of our environmental education programs to the eastern side of Howard County. For 25 years the Conservancy has provided programs, field trips, summer camps and land preservation from Mt. Pleasant Farm in Woodstock. The Conservancy is honored to be chosen by Howard County Recreation and Parks as the nonprofit partner to provide environmental education programs at the county’s new Belmont Manor and Historic Park in Elkridge. Conservancy programs and offices will be located in the Carriage House on the park’s grounds and will utilize both Belmont parkland as well as the surrounding 16,000 acre Patapsco State Park. Programs at Belmont include free monthly guided hikes, school field trips, summer camp and public events.
