Sojourne's Trina Coleman is back with her first entirely solo show at Germano's. The soul singer's classical training and biracial background weave into a fresh, powerful sound pulsing with a heartfelt narrative. Her voice and original songs evoke the sounds of Alicia Keys and Regina Spektor. Trina, a native of Philadelphia and Baltimore, is touring back in the US while she and her family currently reside in Oslo, Norway. She looks forward to sharing new songs birthed from her time overseas with musings on culture, inviting change after pain, and love that's lived in.

Trina, a Baker Artist Award and Bernard Ebb Songwriting Award Finalist has been described as Baltimore Magazine as bringing "smooth, sophisticated jazz/funk." With her band Sojourne Trina has performed at Allentown JazzFest, AMP by Strathmore, Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club, Creative Alliance, Philadelphia's Award-Winning Andrea Clearfield Salon, Artscape Festival, SoFar Sounds Oslo, Melodica Fest Oslo, opened for Grammy Winner Cory Henry at The 8x10, live on National Public Radio’s WYPR 88.1 FM.
