Spring Dance Concert at Baltimore School for the Arts
Baltimore School for the Arts’ Spring Dance Concert is a lively and fast-paced mix of both ballet and modern works, from some of the most celebrated choreographers in the country as well as BSA students. The performance includes: Serenade, from the legendary George Balanchine and accompanied by BSA’s string orchestra, Concertato; an original work set to the music of Our Town from Tony nominee Christopher d’Amboise; a contemporary piece created specifically for BSA’s seniors by noted choreographer and faculty member Anton Wilson; an original work from BSA alumnus Doug Baum; and two pieces, a contemporary ballet and a modern work, choreographed by BSA seniors. Thursday, April 19, at 7 pm. Friday, April 20, at 5 pm. Saturday, April 21, at 1 pm and 5 pm. The Baltimore School for the Arts is located at 712 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD.
