Baltimore School for the Arts’ Spring Dance Concert is a lively and fast-paced mix of both ballet and modern works, from some of the most celebrated choreographers in the country as well as BSA students. The performance includes: Serenade, from the legendary George Balanchine and accompanied by BSA’s string orchestra, Concertato; an original work set to the music of Our Town from Tony nominee Christopher d’Amboise; a contemporary piece created specifically for BSA’s seniors by noted choreographer and faculty member Anton Wilson; an original work from BSA alumnus Doug Baum; and two pieces, a contemporary ballet and a modern work, choreographed by BSA seniors.
