AsanaRoots presents month five of their First Friday art exhibition series on April 6th, 2018 with Markmaking, a solo exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Erin Barach. Markmaking includes drawings and collage that explore literal and poetic fragmentation, overlooked subtleties of everyday surfaces, and the physical sensation of touch. The show opens with a reception on April 6th, 7:30 – 9:30pm. AsanaRoots is located on the second floor of 1707 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD. There is no cover charge, but a suggested contribution of $5-$15 is welcome, supporting future arts programming as well as the artists themselves. During the opening, the artist will be working on a collaborative collage using imagery of found marks from the AsanaRoots space. Visitors are invited to observe and participate in the process.
