The Annual Spring Gala is PPM’s premier fundraising event. Each year, hundreds of supporters gather to celebrate the important and critical work of one of Maryland's largest reproductive healthcare providers. The event features delicious gourmet hors d'oeuvres, specialty cocktails, live music, an exciting silent auction, raffle prizes and Betty Tyler Award presentation. This year, PPM will honor the 45th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade with special guest Dr. Sarah Weddington. On January 22, 1973, Weddington won the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade; the Court ruled that the U.S. Constitution guarantees women the choice to continue or terminate a pregnancy. This decision made Weddington the youngest person ever to win a case before the U.S. Supreme Court. Spring Gala kicks off on April 12th at the American Visionary Art Museum with a VIP Reception from 6:30pm – 7:30pm followed by the Main Event from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
