Lord Baltimore Fellow, Carrie Glenn will examine the effects of the Haitian Revolution on North Americans traveling to and trading with Saint Domingue. She will discuss the following questions: in what ways did revolutionary turmoil alter trade? And, how did those merchants in Saint Domingue’s port cities adjust to war and revolution?
