11th Annual International WAMMFest

11th Annual International WAMMFest

The 11th International Women and Minorities in Media Festival (WAMMfest) is presented by Towson University’s Department of Electronic Media and Film. WAMMFest's mission is to promote and celebrate inclusive films, media, and filmmakers from all categories of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and age.

This year we've got 5 screening blocks of films all programmed from our international call for works. Our first 2 screening blocks, Mid-Atlantic Emerging and Screening Block A are both FREE! These films include animations, comedies, documentaries, music videos, and narratives. We are bringing back our popular VR block where you can watch and experience 360 degree video and sound from around the world. And new this year is our Mid-Atlantic Emerging Screening Block, where we celebrate and encourage new and upcoming student and amateur filmmakers from the Mid-Atlantic area (Maryland, Pennsyvlania, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York).

Our films are from Baltimore and Towson to around the world, from Germany to India, Mexico to Nepal, and Macedonia to Tanzania, with many in between.

Join us at WAMMFest to see films that will make you laugh, cry and think!
