Duo Alterno

The Duo Alterno, featuring Tiziana Scandaletti, soprano, and Riccardo Piacentini, piano and foto-songs, presents a program entitled Foto-songs from Italy and the World, featuring works by Ennio Morricone, Riccardo Piacentini, David Froom, Roberta Vacca, Sonia Bo, and Matteo D’Amico, accompanied by video projections.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, with more than one hundred tours in fifty countries across five continents, the Duo Alterno has collected “photo-sounds” that will be projected during the performance, linking the images to the voice-piano repertoire of living composers.

Tickets: $15 general admission, $10 seniors, $5 students, free for UMBC Music majors and Music faculty/staff, available online or at the box office one hour before the performance.
