Mental Health Forum: Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia

Please join us for our mental health forum, "Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia," on October 11th at 6:30pm. You will learn what Alzheimer’s disease is and how it affects the human body. You will also learn valuable information about preventing the disease, and/or how to navigate community resources for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and their caregivers.

Chloe Jackson is the Community Relations Coordinator at the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). As Community Relations Coordinator, she gives educational presentations in Baltimore city and surrounding areas on Alzheimer’s disease. She also speaks about the various research study being conducted at Johns Hopkins, serves on the Memory & Aging Community Advisory Board (MACAB) and links families affected by Alzheimer’s to the community services they may need.

NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore presents mental health forums about various topics on the 2nd Wednesday evening of every month. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.
