Aviation Open Cockpit Day Launches Imagination Flying
Visitors of all ages can fly in their imaginations during a special one of a kind experience when they attend the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum’s Open Cockpit Day. Located at Martin State Airport, the Museum offers a day of aviation fun providing the opportunity to sit in the pilot seats of the Museum’s outdoor flightline of vintage airplanes. Families will be flying high with excitement as they climb into jet fighters, bombers and helicopter. Shuttle busses to the flightline begin their tours at 9:15am with the last tour of the planes departing at 12:00 pm. In the event of rain, the Open Cockpit will be cancelled.
