The deadline to apply is July 15.

The Masters Review is currently accepting applications for their Short Story Award for New Writers. One writer will receive a prize of $2,000 and publication on the Masters Review's website. Second- and third-place will receive $200 and $100 respectively, as well as publication.

All three stories will earn publication on the site and agency review by Amy Williams of The Williams Agency, Victoria Marini by GELFMAN SCHNEIDER / ICM PARTNERS and Laura Biagi from Jean V. Naggar Literary Agency, Inc. in New York.

Based in Portland, Oregon, The Masters Review is an online and print publication that exclusively publishes work with new and emerging writers. The review publishes fiction and nonfiction online year-round, as well as an annual print anthology of short stories.
