Celebrations! Columbia’s 50th, Columbia Pro Cantare’s 40th, Jim Rouse Theatre’s 20th
Columbia Pro Cantare celebrates the anniversaries of three Howard County treasures with a concert that highlights the special connection between the chorus and Columbia’s founder, James Rouse (1914-1996). Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait is one of the featured works on the program, which was narrated by Mr. Rouse in a CPC performance at Merriweather Post Pavilion celebrating Columbia's 20th birthday in 1987.
