Each year, Strong City Baltimore puts on the Neighborhood Institute– a daylong event of workshops that provides over 300 community residents, neighborhood leaders, and community development professionals with the training and tools they need to tackle challenges big and small. The theme for our 10th Annual Institute is Strong Roots, Radical Growth: Honoring the Past, Building for the Future.
No matter what business you are in, these days you need a platform. For artists and writers, your platform helps your target audience discover your work and builds loyal customers. In this workshop, small business owner and award-winning writer, Barbara Morrison, will explain how your platform helps you promote your work, and she will provide ten easy steps for building or improving your platform. Among other things, we will discuss various forms of social media and how to use them effectively. We will also discuss some time management tricks and tools.
