Support The Children’s Home – a 501 (c) 3 organization committed to fostering statewide crisis intervention services for youths ages 13 to 21 – at its signature fundraiser. This chic evening will feature an amazing buffet with beer, wine and specialty cocktails, plus live music from Soul Centered, raffles, an interactive art activity; airbrush tattoo and bodypainting from Airbrush Unlimited Group, and a photobooth from Fun Fotos MD.

Runfest is ASA’s annual signature fundraising event with proceeds benefitting the WingMan program which empowers athletes living with disabilities to cross the finish line in mainstream running and triathlon events across Maryland.

Award-winning choreographers examine aspects of secrecy and secret-keeping in this emotionally powerful and physically dynamic performance, which will benefit domestic violence prevention and assistance programs in Maryland.

This open Q&A will allow you to pose a wide range of questions to a psychiatrist: diagnostic concepts, current treatment and alternatives, navigating the mental health system, and meeting longer term rehabilitation goals. Dr. Mark Komrad, previously the host of a nationwide radio talk show about psychiatry, will join us in an "open mic" format. Come with your questions.
Hair Cuttery, the largest family owned and operated chain of hair salons in the country, is hosting its Veterans Day Share-A-Haircut program on Saturday, November 11. For every haircut purchased at one of Hair Cuttery’s nearly 900 salons, one free haircut certificate will be donated to a veteran locally. Hair Cuttery is determined to donate thousands of free haircut certificates to veterans in communities across the nation with the help of local veteran’s organizations such as the American Red Cross, Operation Sacred Housing and regional Veterans Affairs offices.
