Ronald McDonald House Charities Baltimore presents the 2017 HamburGala, An Evening Under the Arches, on Friday, November 3, 2017, beginning at 6 pm, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel. This year’s HamburGala event, presented by Whiting Turner, will delight the senses with gourmet cuisine prepared with McDonald’s ingredients. This not-to-be-missed evening includes cocktails, a seated dinner, music, dancing and silent auction.
A finalist in 2000 and 2002 at the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship (Top 3 both years, and the only woman), a nominee in 2008 and 2012 for a Blues Foundation Blues Music Award, and a 2011 Portland Muddy Award winner, Mary Flower embodies a luscious and lusty mix of rootsy, acoustic-blues guitar and vocal styles that span a number of idioms – from Piedmont to the Mississippi Delta, with stops in ragtime, swing, folk and hot jazz.

Five highly acclaimed, veteran songwriters team up and take the stage for an evening of magic. The show will also include a special guest, Mayrland's own singer/songwriter, Ellis Woodward.
Music-lovers will not want to miss this performance by a mostly female sextet led by one of D.C.’s most outstanding jazz musicians, trombonist and composer Shannon Gunn. Hailed by Washington City Paper as “D.C.’s Best Trombonist, 2015,” Gunn is the leader of The Bullettes, an all-woman big band that has dazzled audiences at venues and festivals throughout the Washington, D.C. region. This sextet features stellar New York jazz flutist Jamie Baum, along with other highly talented local players.
The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is returning in 2017 with an updated orchestral adventure. The show will feature an all new movement from Skyward Sword, a much-anticipated Breath of the Wildarrangement, and the return of a classic that might just make some wishes come true!
