A night of performance dedicated to the audacious human spirit. Baltimore’s own Ama Chandra was a victim of an assault during a home invasion that left her hospitalized for many weeks. An outpouring of love and support from the Baltimore community and an impressive will to recover have helped her get back to the stage for this performance, her first solo show since going into the hospital. With wit and self-assured power, Ama leads her impressive band through new material and old favorites. With special guests.
A holiday classic with a Baltimore twist! Chesapeake Shakespeare Company presents a delightful, original adaptation of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens. True to the traditional tale, businessman Ebenezer Scrooge will receive visits from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, to help change his miserly ways. For fun, we’ve set the story in Victorian Maryland, with Scrooge and Marley’s office located in downtown Baltimore. Our theater, with its PNC Family Room for the littlest members of the audience, welcomes all ages.

Get ready for a New Orleans Christmas!
Annapolis-based act Kings of Crownsville are a roots Rock band with a New Orleans flavor. The brainchild of New Orleans-raised guitarist/singer/songwriterSteve Johnson, the Kings play a rollicking, entertaining set that stirs Americana, Blues, and Jazz into the mix.
Their signature horn section transports listeners to the streets of the Big Easy, while they also add precise three- and four-part harmonies to their musical gumbo. Think Louis Armstrong meets Steely Dan.

There’s big cause for celebration as superstar Jonathan Carney returns for this breathtaking concerto in the very week of Sibelius’ 150th birthday! The puzzle behind Elgar’s famous Enigma may have never been solved, but there's no mystery why his piece has become one of England’s most beloved works. Meanwhile, Bernstein’s “musical love letter to Europe” and Copland’s delight in Cuban dance fill out this multi-cultural program. Soloist sponsored by Legg Mason Gobal Asset Management
