Below the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday and Saratoga Streets, Maryland’s largest producers-only market offers an assortment of produce, meats, dairy, breads, flowers and delicious made-to-order items from dozens of food vendors. The bazaar offers shoppers a variety of unique crafts and collectibles including jewelry, clothing and accessories, pottery, soaps and more.

Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts will be hosting a free public reception to celebrate the School 33 Art Center Exhibitions opening. The exhibition features a diverse array of works, from collaborations by studio artists currently in residence, to solo artists highlighting the intracices of storytelling and the role of an artist in modern society. The exhibits include the School 33 Art Center 2017 Studio Resident Biennial Exhibition, Tomorrow Passed Today and Something to be looked at, Something to be used.
The 36th annual Artscape kicks off with the announcement of the prestigious Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize winner. The $25,000 prize winner is announced during an award ceremony and reception at the Walters Art Museum, 600 North Charles Street.
Artscape visitors can view the artwork of the Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize semifinalists during the festival weekend at the Decker and Meyerhoff Galleries inside the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Artscape, America’s largest free arts festival, returns to Baltimore for its 36th year on Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23, 2017. This year’s theme is “Camp Artscape: Adventure Awaits” and encourages artists and festival-goers to step out of their comfort zone and experience something new at a summer staple in Baltimore: Artscape.
As the sun goes down on Artscape, the festivities continue during Artscape After Hours! Wander through the illuminated streets while experiencing comedy shows, live music & DJs, giant dance floors, and more on Charles Street, from Preston Street to North Avenue.
