Duo Violão Brasil is the result of guitarists Rogério Souza and Edinho Gerber's reverence for Brazilian guitar, the “violão”, and their desire to explore and expand the musical possibilities of putting two “violões" together. With repertoire from composers like Pixinguinha, Baden Powell, and Tom Jobim, the duo navigates effortlessly through the many styles of 20th century Brazilian popular music while showcasing original works and inventive arrangements.
The Hot Club of Baltimore, featuring guitarist Michael Joseph Harris, is the premier gypsy jazz group of the region specializing in the vast repertoire of vintage jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt including early swing, musette waltzes, show tunes, be bop, and French standards from the 30's and 40's. The band includes Sami Arefin on rhythm guitar, Ed Hrybyk on bass and Matt Andrews on violin. They will be joined by the beautiful young chanteuse Alexis Tantau who will beguile you with her authentic treatment of songs from Edith Piaf to Ella Fitzgerald.

Twisted Knickers Burlesque is back at Germano’s Cabaret, performing to the lively New Orleans-inspired sound of the jazz band Tongue in Cheek. Featuring burlesque performers Tapitha Kix, Mourna Handful, Cherie Sweetbottom, Tempette LaCouer and host and performer, Hot Todd Lincoln, this show will have you clapping along, hooting and hollering and cheering for more!

Missy Raines & the New Hip - Based out of Nashville, TN, Missy Raines is considered to be one of the most respected, popular, and trailblazing figures in bluegrass today. A seven-time winner of the IBMA Bass player of the year award, she has backed greats such as Claire Lynch, Mac Weisman, Kenny Baker, and Peter Rowan. Raines now leads her own innovative and genre-bending band, The New Hip, which is a rich, jazz-tinged combination of her bluegrass roots and thick Americana.

With a delightful mix of jazz, blues, stride, boogie, pop, and ragtime, Holland & Coots have created something for every taste.
The Old Part Of Town is a Baltimore-based Americana band formed in 2013 to serve as Matt Douglass and Sam Nitzberg’s vehicle for their great original songs. Mining the rich musical landscape of folk, rock and roll, country-western and blues, their dynamic live shows are peppered with covers of hidden gems from an eclectic range of musical sources.
Roland Park E/M School is proud to present its string students in an evening of delightful selections of classical, pop, and traditional music selections. Chamber music covers a variety of genres, and Roland Park students are excited to offer a potpourri of their favorite repertoire. Please join us for an evening of wonderful food and exciting music, all to benefit the Roland Park instrumental music program. From chamber orchestra to string quartet, patrons will be treated to an inspirational experience of what Baltimore City Schools students are engaged in on a daily basis.

Robbie Pate returns to Germanos to play duo with guitarist Michael Gary II
Robbie and Michael, both alumni of The Baltimore School for the Arts, started playing duo together in 2011.
This concert will include original music and arrangements written by Robbie and Michael!
Banjo player extraordinaire and 2015 recipient of the 6th annual Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, Danny Barnes is described as "one of a kind" and widely acknowledged as "one of the best banjo players in America." Barnes is recognized for his experimental sound. The raw and unpolished musical breadth of his compositions has propelled him across the industry today. Barnes released a new solo record Got Myself Together (Ten Years Later) on Austin, TX based Eight 30 Records on November 27, 2015.
