Enjoy a mid-week pumpkin filled fall day in Center Plaza on Wednesday, October 22, from 11am-2pm. The kids will love the petting zoo, pumpkin patch and making their own scarecrow.

Register online to reserve your pumpkin. Bring an old pair of kid’s clothes for scarecrow making. Apple cider and apple products for sale from Distillery Lane Ciderworks. Bring a picnic and enjoy outdoor lunch in the park.
Just Kids third annual "Art with a Story" is a multimedia fundraising event featuring visual and performance art to honor Youth Justice Awareness month. The night will begin with appetizers, and a gallery exhibit showcasing visual art. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a collective work of art. The second half of the night will feature live performances by local artists and storytelling by Maryland youth and families about their experiences in the adult system.
In this program of twentieth century music, District5 connects the biographies of four composers whose lives were marked by the experience of exile. Though unified in their expatriation, each composer’s circumstances and reactions varied dramatically. From Paul Hindemith’s voluntary departure from Nazi Germany to Isang Yun’s multiple imprisonments, this concert presents exile with all its contradictions and complications.

This is Baltimore City's only dedicated blues jam, hosted by blues guitarist/vocalist Gina DeLuca in an open mic format in historic Fells Point, three blocks north of the waterfront, one block east of Broadway. All are welcome to play the blues or just stop by to hear a set. Free street parking; no cover. Music starts at 8pm and runs until 12 midnight. All ages; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a smoke-free venue.
This season-opening concert features UMD trumpet professor Chris Gekker performing the Neruda Trumpet Concerto in Eb-Major. Also on the program: Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture and Kalinnikov’s First Symphony.

The New Music Ensemble at Towson is joined by faculty members, mezzo soprano Leneida Crawford and baritone Phillip Collister to present music by celebrated American composer George Crumb.

This October, the inagural season of Charm City Bronze The Handbell School arrives!
Beau Lochte, The Handbell School founder, has over five years of experience directing bell choirs, youth and adult, in the Baltimore area and conducted a massed choir that included Arsis Handbell Ensemble, Estonia at Second Presbyterian Church on July 22, 2014.
The Handbell School, on Deepdene Road in Baltimore's Roland Park neighborhood, promises lots of opportunities for students as well as parents to participate in a fun and rewarding activity together learning music through the bells!
Lisa Engelken is a fearless singer with a daunting stage presence. Classically and theatrically trained, this Kansas-born straight shooter wields an acrobatic three-octave range that alternately locomotes and floats through tunes. Expect the unexpected as Lisa comes to Baltimore with her Quartet to perform selections from her latest release, Little Warrior (Top 10 Jazz Releases of 2013) and Caravan (Best of 2010).

The fertile earth that once spread out beneath the great pyramids of ancient Egypt is now home to a futuristic city where scarce electricity is currency and a powerful pharaoh keeps the people divided. Chenzira, a strange boy from the lower crust of society, is searching for the secrets of the pyramids with his companions. What he will find could change his life and rescue humanity from a futuristic dark age.

This award-winning quintet was founded in 1995 and performs everything from Bach to Be-Bop. BSB is also the premiere educational brass ensemble of its kind and currently a performing ensemble for Young Audiences Chapters, including Young Audiences of Maryland. BSB has performed hundreds of educational programs, masterclasses and clinics for kindergarteners through high school seniors.
