Kaleidoscope is a fusion of color and movement as Katie Chen's brilliantly hued mixed-media works are balanced by Bernard Zubrowski's mesmerizing kinetic sculptures.

Joyce J. Scott has been known to deliberately and systematically close the gap between the virtuosity of fine art and the honed adroitness of fine craft, to reveal a practice of meaningful storytelling through the vehicle of the object. Uncharacteristically for Scott, the exhibition Can’t We All Just Get Along? focuses on a particular subject, the global gun culture. This is a common theme in her oeuvre,
yet this showing deviates from past exhibitions in the sum total of her concentrated message.

Did you know that people who preserve and restore artwork are called art conservators? They are experienced professionals who receive extensive training in fine arts, art history, and chemistry. At the Walters, conservators examine, analyze, and treat the collections, enhancing our understanding of art and the people who created it. They also select the best materials and environments for preservation, ensuring that the artwork survives for future generations.
